Euro 2008 Celebrations in Madrid

Here in our little village in rural Ireland... no one seemed to care about the Euro final but Lynda and me. And certainly no one cared about Spain. Looks like we planned our exit from Spain all wrong. Oh, how I wish I'd been in Madrid yesterday. Well... there's always 2010.

Spain was the best team in Euro 2008. They deserved to win the title. Viva Espana!

Celebrations were amazing.

They were all led by Liverpools own Pepe Reina:

This is quite awesome. Presents the entire team. Love the words about Puerta when introducing Ramos, the cheeky dig at Senna for not being Spanish, and forgetting who number 17 was when introducing Güiza. What a legend

I didn't realise quite how much of a showman he is. He loves the limelight doesn't he.

There's loads of videos on youtube of him going crazy.

That's a great video (with translation on the side for those of you whose Spanish is as good as ours).

I've been meaning to mention Puerta on here, because I heard so many people afterwards asking "who was that on Sergio Ramos's shirt?"
